Sha'aban Bags PCRC Chief Marshal Peace Award

Hon. Sani Shaaban has been awarded the P.C.R.C. Chief Marshall Peace Award by the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) of the Nigeria Police Force, Kaduna State Command.
The award was presented to Shaaban at State House, Kawo, Kaduna in recognition of his support to the work of the PCRC in Kaduna State on occasion of the organisation's one-day summit on Security Awareness held on 5th November, 2015.
The summit event which was chaired by Shaaban was attended by representative of the Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-rufai, the Kaduna State Police Commisioner represented by A T Abdullahi, AC Operations, senior police officers, top politicians, businessmen and members of civil society. Goodwill speeches were delivered by representative of the Emir of Zazzau, National Chairman of the PCRC, Police Commisioner.
Chairman of the event, Hon. Shaaban commended the Police for their work and sacrifices especially now that the threat of insurgency is a major challenge confronting the country. He admonished the police to continue the good work and called on the government and community to cooperate and support the Police in the discharge of their duties.
In the award citation of Shaaban, the presenter described him as a man with vision, a trail blazer in every aspect of human endeavours. His business success locally and internationally was noteworthy as well as his political foresight.
Awards were also given out to other recipients, especially of the Police Force who have distinguished themselves in the course of their duty in the command.
As part of the activities of the summit, lectures were presented on issues of security by Prof M. T. Ladan of Faculty of Law, Ahmadu Bello University and other speakers.
